Embroidery on Cards

Step 1:

These instructions are for our Cardstock designs. The cardstock designs are digitized specifically to embroider on cardstock. You can view our Cardstock Designs by clicking here.

I used sticky tear away stabilizer for this project. You can use tear away also. Hoop your stabilizer. If using self adhesive stabilizer, tear away the paper to expose the stabilizer. If using standard tear away, spray a light coat of adhesive onto the stabilizer. Be sure to use adhesive for embroidery because other adhesives can gum up your needle. Place the cardstock onto the stabilizer. I recommend using heavier cardstock, if available.

Step 2:

Position the design on your cardstock. Stitch out your design.

Step 3: After your design is complete, tear away the stabilizer from your card. You can now cut a piece of cardstock to cover the stitching on the inside of your card.
